Ratafia: A natural aperitif created directly from the harvest, it is only made from grape juice, alcohol and liqueur brandy (distilled champagne wine). This mistelle is customarily aged in oak barrels. Its wonderful sweetness conceals delicious flavours of ripened fruit and fresh grapes. This strong honey nectar should be served cold as an aperitif or dessert wine. Its round and full-bodied nature is also paired perfectly with melon, foie gras or Roquefort cheese.
